In January, the annual "Harmonious China·2009 Influential Figures Evaluation Activity" was announced in Beijing. Chairman Huang Kunda was awarded the honored title of "Harmonious China-2009 Top Ten Influential Entrepreneurs". Wang Wenyuan, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, presented awards to the winners.

In March, ALFABUS’ lithium-ion battery and capacitor electric bus project was certified as a high-tech product in Jiangsu Province.
In April, ALFABUS won the CIBC China Annual Bus Gold Award at the Fifth International Bus Competition.
In May, ALFABUS won Annual Best Green Bus Award in the 2010 World Bus Union at the World Bus Expo.
In July, ALFABUS pure electric bus was officially put into operation on Nanjing Road (Bus Line No. 20) in Shanghai. Under working conditions of 40 degrees, it run for 15 hours on a single charge, which had better performance than other similar buses operating in Shenzhen and Shanghai.
In September, ALFABUS Technology Center was rated as Jiangsu Provincial R&D Center.
In October, Alfabus' new generation of pure electric tourist bus served the 19th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival in Jiangyin, which was highly praised by public.

In October, ALFABUS successfully developed the third-generation pure electric bus in domestic market.
In November, ALFABUS electric bus project obtained the national new energy vehicle production access qualification and was included in the catalog of "Recommended Models for Energy-saving and New Energy Demonstration and Application Projects" of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China.
In November, Du Zhanyuan, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, boarded ALFABUS’ electric bus and listened to the report of the company's leader.
In December, ALFABUS’ newly developed LNG bus was a success, and the first batch of 159 LNG buses was put into operation in Jiangyin city.

2008

In January, 18-meter BRT buses jointly designed and developed with Scania were officially put into operation on the Changzhou BRT special line.
In May, ALFABUS BRT buses were rated as a politically significant bus in the history of China's bus industry since the reform and opening up in 1979 by Automotive Business Review.
Approved by China National Development and Reform Commission in June, twenty ALFABUS’ electric buses served Beijing Olympic Games sub-fields and were successfully put into demonstration operations in Shanghai, Jinan and Qingdao.

2007

Taking advantage of the monocoque of luxury buses, ALFABUS has successfully developed 9-12m high secondary buses, which have entered Changzhou, Jiangyin and other urban markets in batches.
In June, Jiangsu Alfa Bus Co., Ltd. and Scania held a contract signing ceremony in the Swedish Prime Minister’s Office. The cooperative theme was to develop BRT city buses for Changzhou city in China. Former President Hu Jintao and Swedish Prime Minister John Fredrik Reinfeldt attended the ceremony.
On December 19, 18-meter BRT buses jointly developed and produced by ALFABUS and Scania rolled off the assembly line.

ALFABUS formed a strategic partnership with Scania, the "King of the Road". We jointly designed and developed a high-level M3 12-meter bus, and entered the ranks of the few domestic manufacturers who can produce this kind of bus. This bus won the "Fashion Innovation Award" at the "8th International Highway and Water Transport Technology and Equipment Exhibition".

ALFABUS successfully developed a pure electric bus in cooperation with Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing Keling, and Beijing Science and Technology Commission and put it into operation in Beijing. This is the prototype as a major special pure electric bus included in the National 863 Project.
ALFABUS Introduced Hino's advanced assembly technology, so as to design and develop high-end bus chassis ranging from 9 to 12 meters.

ALFABUS established a technical center, introduced the body manufacturing technology from Spanish company INDCAR with advanced European standards, and developed and produced domestic advanced medium-sized high-end luxury buses.
Cooperated with Italian company IVECO, ALFABUS obtained IVECO trademark authorization and joined the IVECO product series.

In June, Mr. Huang Kunda acquired Jiangsu Jianpai Bus Manufacturing Plant that was established in 1984, and afterwards renamed it as Jiangsu Alfa Bus Co., Ltd.
